Meet the Artist Behind Art by Bobbie: Where Creativity, Epoxy & a Little Diva Energy Come Together
Every piece of art has a story—and so does Art by Bobbie.
My journey actually started with a much bigger dream: I wanted to become the diva of epoxy and wood tables and furniture!
And I still do.
But working with epoxy is an art and a skill that takes time, patience, practice, and plenty of learning. When I began learning the craft, my teachers encouraged me to start smaller—with molds and basic art—before moving into large furniture projects.
And that's how Art by Bobbie was born.
It Started as Practice. Then I Fell in Love With It.
What began as a way to learn epoxy became something I genuinely love doing.
Creating individual pieces gives me the freedom to experiment with colors, details, techniques and ideas. And although I still have much more I want to learn, I don't see myself ever giving up the personal artwork I've discovered along the way.
That's now part of who I am as an artist.
One day, I'd love to take what I'm learning and expand Art by Bobbie into epoxy furniture, tables, floors and even doors.
I'm not there yet—and that's part of the story.
You're getting to watch me learn, experiment and grow.
Handmade Means Something to Me
One thing that's important for people to understand about my work is that I don't 3D print my pieces.
I mix and paint each piece by hand.
That allows me to play with colors, details and combinations and give every creation my own personal touch. I don't want everything I make to look exactly like something that came off an assembly line.
I want it to feel like Art by Bobbie.
That's also why I love the creative process so much. Art gives me a place where I can express myself freely and turn an idea or emotion into something you can actually see and hold.
Why You'll See Phoenixes and Dragons in My Art
Some subjects mean more to me than simply looking beautiful.
The phoenix is my spirit animal and one of my favorite things to create. To me, there's something powerful about what the phoenix represents: rising, transformation, strength and becoming something new.
And then there are my dragons.
I love creating pieces that represent inner strength, which is one reason dragon artwork speaks to me so much. They're bold, powerful and full of personality.
Those are qualities I love bringing into my art.
This Is Only the Beginning
Art by Bobbie is still growing because I'm still growing as an artist.
I'm learning. I'm experimenting. I'm developing my epoxy skills. Some days I'm discovering new techniques, and other days I'm figuring out what I want to try next.
Eventually, I want you to see Art by Bobbie on much bigger canvases—beautiful epoxy tables, furniture, floors, doors and whatever else my imagination leads me toward.
But the smaller handmade pieces aren't going anywhere.
They're part of the journey that got me there.
So when you purchase something from Art by Bobbie, you're not buying something that rolled off a production line.
You're getting something I mixed, painted and created by hand—with my creativity, personality and a little piece of me inside it.
And I can't wait to see where this journey takes us next.
Welcome to Art by Bobbie. ❤️🔥
